Rocky Mountain Conference

United Methodist Women

Purpose

The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose PURPOSE is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

Located in the beautiful Rocky Mountain states, United Methodist
Women in this conferences are divided into six districts: 1) Metropolitan,  2) Mile High/Pikes Peak, 3) Peaks and Plains, 4) Sunshine, 5) Utah/Western Colorado and 6) Wyoming/Northeast Colorado. Women are invited to attend three conference events each year: the Spiritual Life Retreat held at the Estes Park Y Camp in April, The School of Christian Mission in July, and the Annual Meeting in October. These events inspire, educate and encourage women to “live” the purpose--making a difference in the lives of women and children here and around the world.

Julia Tulloch was our guest at the 2011 Annual Meeting, held at Crossroads UMC in Grand Junction.
